Restaurant Critic Roundup: Brasserie Pushkin Disappoints

As always, the ratings range from stars to bells to beans, but every review offers specialized insight into the food, atmosphere, and service of eateries in each city's dining scene and the critics eating at them.

This week in restaurant reviews, the critics were tough. Aside from Borgne in New Orleans, which received 4 beans from Brett Anderson, no restaurant received more than 2.5 stars. The Back Forty and Back Forty West received differing grades from the same critic. Which prevails? New or old?

In D.C., Tom Sietsema awarded Michael Mina's tavern a dismal 1.5 stars. Austin's Olive and June and San Francisco's Olive and Vine both held their own with 7 out of 10 and 2.5 stars respectively.

From the East Coast to the West Coast, from North to South, the weekly restaurant critic roundup is here for all of your dining out needs.
