Rent a Villa for a Good Cause

InspiredGiving from Inspirato makes luxury travel charitable

It is hard to come up with too many excuses not to rent a villa, beyond the whole financial factor for, you know, 99 percent of us. But just in case anyone was wavering, there is now a way to book ultra-luxe getaways and benefit charity in one fell swoop, and it’s called InspiredGiving. Started by Inspirato, a private club for luxury travel, InspiredGiving asks for a $2,000 donation to any of the charities that they work with and in return, they open the door to members-only prices for their plethora of villas and vacation rentals, which all come with private concierges who deal with everything from prepping the house for your arrival to booking reservations.

The charities run the gamut from the American Diabetes Association and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation to Invest in Kids and the National Children’s Cancer Society. In addition to raising funds for these charities by offering their members’ prices to donators, InspiredGiving will grant each organization access to the villas for fundraising on their own.

As you might expect, the destinations are a jet-setters’ dream. Think a 3,700-square-foot cabin in Jackson Hole, a two-bedroom suite in New York City, a four-bedroom villa in Tuscany, or a two-bedroom rooftop suite in Turks and Caicos, all priced at nightly hotel rates ranging from around $350 to, well, "call for pricing." What’s more, the destinations come with services like private chefs and sommeliers, every house has a gourmet kitchen, and almost all their properties come with local perks like parking passes and ski lift tickets.
