Looking for a low-carb alternative to the traditional slider? These sliders can be made with turkey or chicken. Swap out buns for thick slices of zucchini.

Ingredients

  • 1/2  Pound  ground turkey or chicken
  • garlic clove, minced
  • 1  Tablespoon  diced onion
  • 1/4  Teaspoon  paprika
  • 2  Tablespoons  olive oil
  • Chopped lettuce
  • small tomato, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • large zucchini, sliced into quarter-inch thick circles

Directions

Combine ground meat, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and paprika, and form quarter-inch small burger patties.

Heat oil in pan or skillet, add patties and cook about 10 min until well done on both sides.

Place zucchini slices on a grill (for grill marks) or pan for 2 minutes and set aside to dry.

Assemble sliders by placing one patty on a zucchini slice, add lettuce and tomato slice, and finish with another zucchini slice on top.

Add additional toppings to your sliders like avocado, mushrooms, or onions.
