Chakra Restaurant in Bergen County, N.J. invites customers into its earthy, inviting atmosphere for eclectic New American food and wine. Alongside the extensive menu of food and wine (customers can even become members of the Chakra Wine Club) is a specialty drinks menu including the Zen Garden. This gin-based cocktail designed by Beverage Director Evelyn Ciszak has flavors of tea, pineapple, and cilantro, making this one of the best gin cocktails out there.

Ingredients

1 ounce seagram’s dry gin
1 ounce theia’s organic jasmine tea liquor
1 ounce pineapple juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice
2 sprigs of cilantro

Directions

Combine gin, Theia liquor, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and the leaves picked from 1 cilantro sprig into mixing glass. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain and pour into Highball with fresh ice. Garnish with the other cilantro sprig.
