As summer heats up, Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi suggests battling rising temperatures with homemade wine-infused popsicles. Guaranteed to help beat the heat, the Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Strawberry Moscato Popsicles and Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Melon-Mint Wine-Sicles combine sweet white wine and fresh fruit for an adult twist on the summertime favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1  Cup  water
  • 1  Cup  granulated sugar
  • sprigs fresh mint
  • 1/2  honeydew melon, peeled and cubed
  • 3/4  Cups  Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Moscato

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and mint to create an infused syrup. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Cool and reserve.

In a food processor, blend together the honeydew and Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Moscato. Add the infused syrup and pulse to combine.

Pour mixture into individual molds; add sticks and freeze until solid.

Melon Shopping Tip

Buying fruits in season when they are at the peak of their freshness make for great tasting food and can save you money.

Melon Cooking Tip

Don’t throw out your overripe fruit – instead blend into a smoothie or salad dressing, add to muffin batter, bake into a cobbler, or boil down with sugar and a little lemon juice to make jam.
