Ok, Summer is ending but watermelon and berries are still in abundance. I had plenty of both and decided to try something a little different. I sliced and diced into bite size pieces my beautiful watermelon and threw in these gorgeous blackberries and added a handful of freshly chopped mint. I squeezed fresh lime juice over fruit and added tequila and some chambord. It was polished off in ten minutes!
Slice and dice 1 watermelon. Place watermelon into colander to drain excess water. 5mins. Clean and wash blackberries. Place in clean bowl on side. Measure out tequila and chambord and pour into large serving bowl. Place watermelon and blackberries into bowl and toss gently then place in fridge covered for 15mins. Allowing the alcohol to ferment. Remove from fridge after15mins or when ready to serve and squeeze lime juice over fruit. Toss fruit in bowl and add chopped mint. Toss again then serve. Yum!
