That tangy sauce you get to dunk your fries and chicken nuggets into has to be great with other things besides fried foods, right? We thought so, and so we tossed it with some string beans and added an extra crunch with another fast-food favorite, Burger King Onion Rings.

Special thanks to Emily Jacobs of Sage Recipes for helping us test this recipe.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

On a cutting board, cut each onion ring in half. Lay the onion rings out onto a baking sheet and toast for about 5 minutes.

In a large sauté pan, melt the 4 tablespoons of butter and sauté the steamed green beans for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the sweet and sour sauce and toss well. Cook for 1 minute. Add the string beans to a serving bowl and toss with onion rings to serve.
