Onion Dip
Ingredients
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove roasted garlic, minced
  • pinch of salt
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. Dice the onions, and place them in your slow cooker with the vegetable oil, butter, salt, and brown sugar. Cook on high for 8 minutes until caramelized. Remove the onions from the slow cooker, strain them, and allow them to cool.
  2. Combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, and onions together until well mixed. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve.
