This is a sure fire way to make the best eggnog possible:

2-  1/2 gallons vanilla ice cream - allow to completely melt in their containers and then pour into a large bowl

16 oz brandy

16 oz white rum

1 quart milk

2 tbsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp freslhy ground nutmeg

Combine all indients and chill for a couple of hours. Garnish with additional freshly grated nutmeg prior to serving.
