Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 8 cup cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lavender flowers
  • 4 ounce fresh lemonade
  • 1/4 ounce lavender simple syrup
  • 4 ounce brut rosé wine
  • fresh lemon slice, to garnish
Directions
  1. Combine hot water and sugar in a large pitcher and stir to dissolve. Once dissolved, add lemon juice and cold water. Stir until fully combined. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  2. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved. When boiling, remove from the heat, add lavender, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and let cool.
  3. Fill a glass with small ice cubes. Pour in the fresh lemonade, followed by the lavender simple syrup. Once settled, fill the remainder of the glass with rosé. Garnish with a lemon slice.
