Created by bartender Adam Harness, this riff on the pre-Prohibition Hair of the Lion cocktail replaces whiskey with rum and adds egg white.

Ingredients
- 2 ounce appleton estate reserve rum
- 1/2 ounce st. elizabeth allspice dram
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 egg white
- ice
- freshly grated nutmeg
Directions
- Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice and strain into coupe. Garnish with nutmeg.
