Ethiopian Fava Beans

  • 2 Cups  fresh fava beans, washed
  • 6 Cups  water
  • 1 1/2 Cup  vegetable oil
  • 2 Cups  red onions, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon  garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon  cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon  ground cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon  salt
