Salted Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 lime, zested
  • 14 ounce condensed milk
  • 1 cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange liqueur
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt
  • 2 sheets gelatin
  • pre-made pie crust
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. In a stand mixer fitter with a whisk, whisk the yolks and zest together at a high speed until light and fluffy. Combine the condensed milk, key lime juice, liqueur, and salt. Mix together with yolk mixture. Melt the gelatin and whisk in. Pour in a pre-baked pie crust. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
