Cooler than a Cucumber Cocktail

Try this refreshing and unique cucumber cocktail Created by Mixologist Justin Lavenue (North American Winner of the 2015 Bombay Sapphire Most Imaginative Bartender Competition).

Ingredients

  • 1.5  Ounces  Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • 1  Ounce  cucumber juice
  • 0.5  Ounce  aloe juice
  • 0.5  Ounce  grapefruit juice
  • 0.5  Ounce  Texas Tarragon syrup

Directions

Build ingredients over crushed ice a 12 oz Collins glass. Stir well to incorporate ingredients, garnish with a tarragon leaf, cucumber slice, and serve with a straw.

Cucumber Shopping Tip

There are three different types of cucumbers: slicing, pickling, and “burpless.” If you're making sandwiches, you might want to try the “burpless” variety which are naturally seedless and are less likely to cause gas.

Cucumber Cooking Tip

Salting your cucumber slices and allowing them to drain over a colander for about an hour will get rid of any excess water and keep your sandwich from becoming soggy.
