Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 25 brownie batter oreos, crushed
Directions
  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter a 9-by-13-inch pan and set aside. In a medium bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs. Beat on medium for about a minute until combined. Then, add the salt and cocoa powder and mix until incorporated; about another minute. Then, add the flour in 3 additions, beating after each addition to incorporate. Stir in the chocolate chips, if using. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Then, sprinkle with the crushed Oreos and top with the remaining batter. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the brownies are cooked through and a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy.
