Ingredients

For the cracked pepper balsamic mayonnaise

  • 1 Cup mayonnaise
  • Balsamic vinegar, to taste
  • 3 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

For the sandwich

  • 2 slices white bread, toasted
  • 4 thick slices ripe tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 6 slices applewood smoked bacon, cooked
  • 1 slice green leaf lettuce

Directions

For the cracked pepper balsamic mayonnaise

In a bowl, fold together the mayonnaise, pepper, and balsamic vinegar, to taste.

For the sandwich

Spread some of the mayonnaise on both slices of toast, completely covering the bread. Add a piece of lettuce to 1 slice of toast and layer with the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Place the bacon on the tomatoes and top with the second slice of toast.
