The cauldron has long been the symbol of witches' brew on Halloween. But this year omit the eye of newt and wing of bat and instead serve up this inky-black cocktail. Activated charcoal is even sold in supplement stores and is supposed to help clean out the body's toxins, so your friends could even thank you.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ parts hornitos black barrel tequila
- ¾ part fresh lemon juice
- ¼ part agave syrup
- ¼ part sage simple syrup
- 2 dash of angostura bitters
- 1 capsule activated charcoal*
- lemon slice, to garnish
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except garnish in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon slice.
