Foursquare Tips

  • Check twitter for their daily specials!
  • Check their twitter account @Jinya_Ramen_Van. They usually have a daily freebie posted. (Ie. Extra pork, free wontons, etc.) You just need to mention it.
  • When there's a line (always), make sure to walk in and were you name down on the waiting list. They don't always come out to grab your name
  • Definitely have to try their house special - jinya black ramen - to die for!
  • their wifi password is '233robson'
  • Ask for the minced garlic to add to the broth. Healthy and yummy!
  • The Foodict tip: get their Tonkotsu Black Ramen - very nice broth! Go to foodictionary.net for the complete review! (click Read More)
  • This place doesn't serve tea? What the frak?
  • Tonkotsu Black, special seaweed flavor in the soup!
  • Chicken and vegetable ramen was nice
  • One word. Black.
  • Get the combo, it's worth it!
  • For calorie watchers, the Vegetarian Ramen is a must. Ask for a smaller noodle portion and get $1 off!
  • The black ramen is one of the best ramen dishes in the city.
  • Ramen was just ok.
  • Good stuff, and the to-go is thoughtfully separated into broth and other stuff. Only 20 "Shio Tonkotsu" are served per day, and if you wait until after 12:00 to arrrive, you're probably out of luck!
  • Get the spicy chicken ramen with a seasoned egg!
  • For Vegetarians: Get the Creamy Vegan Ramen, not the Vegetable Ramen. It's got a way stronger taste (garlic!) and isn't as bland.
  • Super fast service and delicious ramen. Try the tonkotsu black, but substitute in the thick noodles.
  • Always get the black ramen or the white. I was curious and tried mostly some of their specialty ramen and they didn't quite satisfy like the black and the white.
