Public House — One Of The Best Of Vegas

Recently, I had the privilege of traveling to Las Vegas on the Block 16 Hospitality Tour so I could tempt my taste buds with cuisine from some of the area's best restaurants. We went to several establishments, but I have to say that my very favorite was Public House inside of the Venetian Hotel.

For the main course, I feasted upon the Roasted Hanger Steak with Polenta Fries — my very first time eating a hanger steak. This cut of meat is also sometimes referred to as a "butcher's steak" because in the past, butchers would often keep it for themselves instead of offering it for sale because of how utterly delicious it is — and I can see why. This was easily the one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, and right up there on the list of the best meals I've ever had, too. It was tender and cooked to absolute perfection. The polenta fries served alongside were fantastic as well. Both items complemented each other flawlessly.

Dessert was Greek Yogurt Semifredo with Olive Oil Cake, Blueberry Fricassee & Strawberry Ice Cream. Before even taking my first bite, I was in awe at how beautiful the presentation was.  They say that you eat with your eyes first, and this dessert is the perfect example.

Everything at Public House Vegas was exemplary. Absolute perfection. If I had to recommend just one restaurant to someone who was traveling to Las Vegas, this would be it. From the atmosphere to the food and the beverages, this establishment hit the nail right on the head with everything it offered.
