Princess Charlotte Casiraghi Stuns In Gucci's First Cosmetic Collection Campaign

It looks like the wait is finally over, after teasing a few months ago that they would be debuting a luxury beauty line, Gucci has finally released the campaign for their Fall 2014 makeup collection. And for such a momentous occasion they didn't pick just any model to front the campaign, they chose a princess—literally. Grace Kelly's granddaughter, Princess of Monaco Charlotte Casiraghi, who has worked with Gucci for their Forever Now collection and is their equestrian ambassador, has been chosen as the face of the new cosmetics line. The campaign, lensed by Mert & Marcus, shows the royal dressed to the nines and ready to face the paparazzi in a bold burgundy lip and smoldering golden eyes. All of this of course as she applies (and reapplies) numerous swipes of the soon-to-be, must-have crimson shade.

The collection will include products for face, eye, nail and lip colors, and brushes as well as skin prepping products. "I was impressed by the packaging, which is really beautiful. It's something you want to have just because it looks very precious—and then the products themselves are very high-quality. The mascara brush is amazing, and the eyeliner lasts a long time and is very easy to use," the princess told Vogue. And it seems the brand loves her as much as she loves them. "Charlotte was a natural choice as she embodies the modern iconic Gucci woman," said Frida Giannini, creative director for the brand. "Aside from her striking beauty, she is sophisticated, successful and iconic. A wonderful ambassador for Gucci."
