Foursquare Tips

  • History is on the menu at Kitchen. Lobster Thermidor may be from 1894, but it certainly doesnt taste old. Its a rich casserole of lobster meat and much more. Decadent and delicious.
  • Plenty of dishes that would have pleased Julia Child, who never objected to richness. Try the mock turtle soup, tournedos Rossini, and lobster Thermidor. Full review: http://b.globe.com/SAMwU4
  • Hardtack, old-time stews, Indian pudding and more super-retro dishes harken back to the good old days when food was food, a drink was a drink and we all died by age 45.
  • Kitchen boasts an eclectic menu inspired by recipes from a variety of classic sources. Each dish on the menu is listed with the date of its conception, transporting diners back in time.
  • Moscow Mule. You're welcome.
  • Try the roasted chicken, it's cooked so different from what I've ever had
  • Try blue cheesed frog legs and bacon-wrapped scallops?
  • Holy retro-dishes batman! Awesome menu.
  • The Cocktail (Tattinger, sugar cube, Angostura)
  • Nice little restaurant on Tremont St. The scallops were great!
  • Delicious risotto!
  • The Pork and Beans is delicious!
  • The lobster thermidor is amazing! Try it!!
  • Steak tartare is fantastic. Can't really go wrong with anything though.
  • Best banana's foster in Boston
  • It was pretty muggy outside so got the table in the back near the A/C unit. We ordered the chicken noodle soup, capri salad, pesto tagliatelle, and two glasses of champagne. Awesome brunch spot.
  • Like great home cooked food...the roasted chicken couldn't have been better.
  • Quite possibly the best burger I've ever had. No need for ketchup on this bad boy. :D Also, they have hot mulled wine. :D :D :D
  • Love that they play REAL records! (Vinyl? Albums?) whatever. Love it. Great Restaurant Week menu too!
  • Great service and creative/well executed dishes. This one's a keeper.
