Pop Up Design Hotel Comes To The Mediterranean

Innovative and design driven temporary shops, restaurants and hotels are popping up around the globe. This summer, we welcome the San Giorgio to the Mediterranean beaches of Mykonos.

The collaboration of nightlife guru's Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel, along with Design Hotels, wanted to create a stylish bohemian environment with the relaxed atmosphere of a friend's beach house. Rooms and public spaces emphasize light and air, and the neutral palette is consistent throughout the property which utilizes raw wood furniture and cement counter tops. The open-plan kitchen and alfresco lounge have a magnificent view of the Aegean and the property is just down the beach from one of Europe's top night spots, the Paradise Club.

Also popping up from July 20th-27th is the Muzungu Sisters global bazaar at the Belvedere Hotel, featuring clothes, accessories and textiles from around the globe.

Not to be missed is Nammos on Psarou Beach for lunch, Agios Sostis Fish Taverna for dinner, and sunset drinks at Caprice at Mykonos Town's Little Venice. Be sure to save a night for all out debauchery at the Paradise Club, where guests of San Giorgio receive complimentary VIP access.
