Plan Your Next Party Around Junk Food

Even the biggest health nut has their faults, and by faults, we mean cravings. Maybe it's Nacho Cheese Doritos or peanut-butter filled pretzels, or even truffle popcorn — a little bit more gourmet — but it's still junk food, nonetheless.

These days, we're consistently looking for the healthier alternative, especially when it comes to our children or our families, and that's a good thing, however, a cheat day never killed anyone.

July 21 is National Junk Food Day, so declare it (or any day you want to throw your next party) an official cheat day to indulge in all the things you wish you didn't want to crave. Create dishes based around party favorites like chips, pretzels, dips, and candy.

If you really want to get crazy, serve fast food at your party and create a buffet from America's favorite pit stops like McDonald's, KFC, White Castle, and Chick-fil-A.

Your guests might protest at the beginning or they might squeal with adolescent delight — either way, they'll get on board.
