Piedmont Park Dog Park

Foursquare Tips

  • Spayed and neutered dogs are cuter! (not to mention safer and less aggressive in the dog park)
  • You can't complain if my big dog harassed your little one in the big dog section
  • Beware of idiots who are unaware that bringing in male un-neutered dogs causes tension amongst all male dogs in the park. Oh, and of the dog owners who act like they own the dog park.
  • Please remove your dogs spiked collars when you come in. Dogs rough house here & they easily get caught on other collars. Also, DO NOT bring your dog in if he/she is not fixed! It is against the law!
  • The newly renovated Piedmont Dog Park offers three acres of in-town, leash-free running trails and green space. Your four-legged friend can follow @PiedmontPup for daily updates and latest happenings.
  • Get CRUNK when the booze cart is open and watch the dawgs go ape shit!
  • Take off your dog's pronged "pinch" collar when you come in. It's safer for the dogs (prongs get caught on other dog's collars) and its also the park rules.
  • Taking your dog(s) for a walk is great exercise for everyone... four legs or two.
  • Our German shepherd mutt Jedi loves to play here! Very safe and great people there, despite the ominous bridge you have to go under to get there.
  • Big!!! And Spacious!
  • Huge area for dogs to run.
  • Separate small and big dog parks! Friendly dog owners!
  • Someone abandoned a little fox terrier. Very sad
  • Great dog park, I'm happy they fix the fountain to give your dog water is cleaner than it was before.
  • Khaleesi thinks she's Queen of the little pup park
  • First Time for myself and little bacon and it actually was very nice!!
  • There's a refreshment truck with $4 beer on MWF and saturdays! Plus tons of fun for dogs and owners
  • Needs to have some grass or green area! It's like a big desert right now!
  • Not much shade here. Bring Rover in the morning.
  • There is hardly a drop of shade midday at the park... either go early morning or evening!
