This recipe solves the age-old problem of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich becoming boring. Make these bite-sized pinwheels for a snack or to serve as an appetizer at your next kids’ party.

Ingredients
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon grape jelly or jam
Directions
  1. Cut the crusts off the bread and smash the slices flatter with a rolling pin.
  2. Spread peanut butter evenly on the bread, and then spread jam or jelly on top of the peanut butter.
  3. Roll the bread slices up into tight spirals. Slice each roll into 4 pieces with a bread knife. If you want to have a bit more fun with the presentation, scatterthe lunchbox container they're in with fresh or dry-roasted peanuts and the fruits from your jelly or jam.
