Foursquare Tips

  • Expect plenty of champagne, on-tap wine, elegant decor, and a menu of tantalizing yet approachable French cuisine.
  • Try the chilled seafood platter from our 100 Best list: Leave it to the Lettuce Entertain You restaurant group to find a way to turn a luxurious platter of fresh lobster, shrimp and more into a steal.
  • Stone Wolf Vineyards in McMinnville, Oregon, designated a pinot gris and pinot noir for Paris Club, which began going through a recyclable keg of tap wine a night.
  • Try the buttery wild mushrooms, set over bright and herby green-pea pure and strewn with pea shoots .
  • Le Hamburger is actually a cheeseburger, with your choice of Gruyre or blue and port-grilled onions, which add a pleasant hint of sweetness to this perfectly pink patty on a butter-slicked bun.
  • The duck confit is made with wheatberry and candied cherries, while scallops come with a lime beurre blanc... a perfect, fruity twist on the classics.
  • amazing bar ..... yummy drinks

  • Jalisco Smash! Delicioso!
  • The doorman who lets people upstairs thinks he works a hollywood club. No need for the horrendous attitude.
  • Chicken liver mousse and bacon steak are outstanding. Skip the pigs feet bonbons.
  • The Pacific King Salmon is delectable. Coupled with a wild mushroom side, I thought I had died and woke up at Benihana.
  • Small plate plate bistro classics like Croque Monsieur, Mussels with Curry & Escargot are all good. Entrees like Coq Au Vin are also available. Good wine selection. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • Great Mac cheese, tuna, fried duck skin, filet mignon, and choc mousse for dessert. Wine: belleruche Grenache/syrah red or Marc Breder Vouvray.
  • Great bar, interesting and unique cocktails and friendly bar tenders. Food choices on the small side but escargot, salmon, trout and frites all excellent. Prices reasonable. Service very good.
  • By far the best bar in River North.
  • I do not like escargo
