Papa John's Apologizes For Racist Receipt

Looks like Chick-fil-A isn't the only company getting flak for a racist receipt. A customer who visited a Papa John's in New York was reportedly handed a receipt with the name "lady chinky eyes."

She tweeted a photo of the receipt and the message, "Hey just FYI my name isn't 'lady chinky eyes.'"

The photo has since received more than 200,000 views, and Papa John's issued an apology via Facebook and Twitter.

"We were extremely concerned to learn of the receipt issue in New York," they wrote. "This act goes against our company values, and we've confirmed with the franchisee that this matter was addressed immediately and that the employee is being terminated. We are truly sorry for this customer's experience."

But seriously, maybe it's time for everyone to just use order numbers, or you know, actually ask for names.
