Truly a terrific restaurant on Washington and 14th in the heart of South Beach. Gilbert, the owner will greet you at the door with a smile and an openers not found so much in restaurants in hot cities with loads of attitude. The place is small and clearly not decorated with anyone wi a serious budget, but the food is delicious. It's on par with the collection of about one hundred of those really good Italian places in NYC like da salvano, campanello, scalinetella, iTruli, etc.
The menu is perfect, something for everyone with daily fresh fish specials and a killer lobster fra diavlo. We have been there three times in the last few weeks and each time was as good as the last. They have an very good wine list of excellant values and nothing over-priced. I can tell you, this place is solid, you won't be disappointed and the staff will win you over so well you will come back again.
