YouTube Is Hosting A Halftime Show With The Guy From 'Epic Meal Time'

This Super Bowl Sunday, if you just aren't that into listening to the (admittedly catchy) pop tunes of Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz, then plug in your headphones and turn on YouTube's halftime show. The first annual YouTube halftime show will feature more than 20 of YouTube's most popular stars (with a combined 60 million subscribers), including Epic Meal Time's Harley Morenstein, also known as "that guy who makes heart-stopping 80,000-calorie breakfast sandwiches with Arnold Schwarzenegger."

Morenstein, also known as "The Sauce Boss," will be leading the pack of YouTube stars, and will feature a bevy of ridiculous stunts like diving into a pool of beer and a pool of cheese, respectively. The show will be streamed on YouTube's Ad Blitz channel, which will also air all of the Super Bowl commercials, and give viewers a chance to vote on their favorite.

"It's a really good place to showcase our celebrities, our talent, and our creators," Suzie Reider, managing director of brand solutions at Google, told Bloomberg. "It will be fun afterwards to see what was Freddie Wong's draw compared to Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz."

Our opinion? No matter how loudly you "roar," nothing compares to giant pools of beer and melted cheese.
