Marvel Comic Fans Can Enjoy A Pop-Up Dinner Series In Hong Kong

Marvel Entertainment — the creators of comic book characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk — is opening a pop-up restaurant in Hong Kong this November.

The dinner series will feature eight-course meals from chefs Alvin Leung and Chris Cosentino. Leung holds Michelin stars for his Bo Innovation restaurants in Hong Kong and London, and Cosentino is the winner of Bravo TV's Top Chef Masters. The series is called Heroes and Villains and will run for three nights, beginning on November 2.

The meals will be inspired by a Marvel character of the chefs' choosing and the seating is limited to only 50 people, so reservations might be hard to snag. Cosentino will create the menu for the November 2, Leung will curate November 3, and the two will team up for the final night on November 4.

Character-themed pop-up restaurants are pretty typical in Hong Kong. Recently, someone opened up a Gudetama café — the lazy egg cartoon from the makers of Hello Kitty.
