Disney World Is Opening A Bar Inside The Hollywood Tower Of Terror
Disney World used to be pretty tight-fisted about serving alcohol to guests, but now even the Magic Kingdom has a beer and wine menu at its Be Our Guest Restaurant.
The latest venue for overaged Mouseketeers will be the upcoming bar/lounge rumored to be opening up soon inside the Hollywood Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, as first reported by WDW News Today.
Unfortunately, the new bar will not be called the Tip Top Club, nor will it be located on the 13th floor as per the ride's original storyline. However, the venue will have Tower of Terror-themed beverages (Rod Serling Rum Punch anyone? How about the 13-Story Lemon Drop?) The ride's bar will be located right across from the gift store — and for the squeamish, no you won't have to brave the ride to grab a refreshment (though we imagine you'd have to be 21 to enter).
No word on when the bar will open up, but according to WDWNT, construction is set to begin almost immediately.
