Shrimp Whopper

Burger King South Korea

This fast food surf n’ turf is a classic whopper with whole shrimp and a spicy tomato sauce.

Looks like the Whopperrito isn’t the only crazy concoction coming out of Burger King’s kitchens. Abroad, the chain has launched a Shrimp Whopper in South Korea and a Pork Whopper in Thailand.

The Shrimp Whopper takes an original Whopper minus the ketchup and adds a layer of whole shrimp and a spicy tomato sauce, details Brand Eating. The burger was recently introduced in South Korea, along with a surf n’ turf version that substitutes the meat for a steak patty.

In Thailand, Burger King released a Pork Whopper, which substitutes the beef patty for a flame-grilled ground pork patty. The chain is also offering a flame-grilled pork and sticky rice entrée which comes with what Brand Eating speculates to be a spicy peanut sauce.
