Australia Just Hosted Its First-Ever Popup Nude Restaurant

We wonder if they served strip steak at this nude restaurant. First, a naked popup restaurant opened in London; then Melbourne tried out a similar nude dining experiment. Collingwood restaurant The Noble Experiment in Australia hosted this unique all-naked dinner for 50 adventurous (and confident!) souls.

According to Yahoo, diners arrived fully-clothed and were then given white robes to change into. They were allowed to keep the robes on during a cocktail hour, and following that were given the option to eat dinner with the robes on or in their birthday suits. Even the restaurant waiters and staff stripped down to just aprons.

"There was no soup served, so we were pretty much covered with that one. There were a couple of forks and knives that hit the floor... but yes it was a great night," owner Daniel Lemura told Yahoo.

Lemura also said that overall everyone was "on their best behavior," and there were no hygiene concerns. For many, the night was about body positivity.

"This is about body acceptance, feeling free and loving yourself in your skin and shaming the body shamers," Jo, a customer who decided to take her robe on, said.
