'Top Chef' Contestant Arrested For Domestic Violence

Chef Aaron Grissom, a contestant on this season of Bravo's Top Chef in Boston, has been arrested on charges of domestic violence. On Tuesday afternoon, according to TMZ, Grissom was in his San Fernando Valley home when he got into a heated argument with his girlfriend, which eventually escalated into violence. He reportedly pushed her hard enough that her knee was injured. He was arrested for infliction of corporal injury on a spouse, but was released on $50,000 bail on Wednesday.

Chef Grissom is known for being a hothead on the show, and has been seen starting expletive-filled arguments and aggravating other contestants on purpose. In short: he has not been the most popular contestant this season. The Daily Meal contacted Bravo representatives for a statement, but they have not yet responded.

The show's episodes are taped far in advance, so on the night Grissom came home, he could watch himself on the winning team of this week's episode.
