There's Paleo Everything Else...Why Not Paleo Cookie Dough?

Eating like our ancestors used to...that would mean eating lots of meat, nuts and berries, right? Well, how about fitting cookie dough into your new Paleolithic lifestyle? Paleo Culinarian has started a Kickstarter campaign for their raw, stripped-down, paleo-friendly sweet treats, like their Paleo cookie dough. Paleo Culinarian's slogan is "tasty treats for the modern world," and their cookie dough is paleo-friendly, gluten-free. The ingredients list loos absolutely nothing like a package of Chips Ahoy either. According to Paleo Culinarian's website, their cookies are "natural and contain no refined sugars, no dairy, no synthetic preservatives, no grains, no trans-fat, and no hydrogenated oils."

Right now, the cookie dough packages, created by chefs Colleen Engle and Adrian Castro, are available in chocolate chip and cherry amaretto. The team is still looking for $1,500 to make their $18,000 goal needed to get their business off the ground.
