Small Town America Gets Showered With Oreo Cookies

Small-town America rarely makes waves in the media, except to serve as the cute backdrop of some Hollywood film, but thanks to Oreo, America's 50 smallest towns will be receiving parcels of Oreos in celebration of the newest flavor of Mini Oreos: Reese's peanut butter. Each and every resident of the 50 smallest towns in America will receive a mini parcel with a mini Oreo inside, including the 90 residents of Love Valley, North Carolina — a realistic recreation of a town in the wild West, where cars aren't allowed and people travel on horseback.

"At OREO, we truly believe that it's the little things that make life special, from little gestures to little places," said Janda Lukin, Senior Director at Oreo. "OREO Mini Deliveries are our way of saying a little thanks to the people and places who help put a little bit of wonder into the big world every day."

If you're bummed out to be living in a city, or even a normal-sized town, fear not: every day from August 11 through 22, Oreo will be giving out 500 free Oreo mini deliveries on a first come, first serve basis (today's mini treats are already sold out!). The little parcel includes an Oreo and a personalized note from you to a friend, family member, colleague or whomever you'd like.
