Scenes From Moveable Feast: Gabrielle Hamilton, Marco Canora

Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking has recently completed filming its second season, which will air on PBS this fall.

The all-new season of pop-up dinners —  featuring visits in cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland — will bring together some of the country's best culinary talent.

Aiming toward highlighting the best fresh and local ingredients of each city, each feast is the result of a full day's work of gathering ingredients around each city and collaborating on impromptu menus, all in time for an evening meal.

When Moveable Feast and host Pete Evans visited New York City, we had a chance to see some of the behind-the-scenes prep as chefs Gabrielle Hamilton (Prune) and Marco Canora (Hearth Restaurant) prepared a meal from ingredients gathered in Little Italy.

The chefs visited the family-owned Italian specialty foods store Di Palo's, Sofia's of Little Italy for espresso, Pino's Prime Meats, and Il Laboratorio del Gelato.
