Roasted Turkey Still The Favorite, More Thanksgiving Facts

Just in case you had no idea what to serve this Thanksgiving (seriously? click this link here), Tada! has come out with a Thanksgiving infographic to help you figure out just what to serve.

For example, if your party is going to be more Gen Y-ers, stay away from cranberries — the fruit came in dead last in the list of Thanksgiving foods. And for youngsters, turkey is OK, really, but it just ranked second in their favorite foods. The sides, it seems, win every year, including mashed potatoes and stuffing.

Seniors, however, tend to enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and then cranberries, a fairly traditional meal.

As for how Thanksgiving turkey should be served? Roast turkey is still the most popular method, with 66 percent of the vote of the 4,509 shoppers, followed by deep-fried (11 percent), and barbecued (4 percent). A few chose smoked turkey, while a couple people like ham, turduckens, faux-turkey, or prime rib instead. Others have Korean barbecue, Cornish game hens, jerk turkey, and lobster, while one person said they like dipping their turkey in blue food coloring, although we think this guy was straight trolling.
