Bar Primi is one of the newcomers to the Michelin affordable eats list.

Want to take advantage of the Michelin Guide’s recommendations, but don’t want to scrape together a month’s salary to do so? Take a look at the 2014 edition of Michelin New York’s Bib Gourmand: restaurant recommendations from Michelin reviewers that highlight eateries where you can dine for two for $40 or less. The latest edition adds 19 new restaurants to its growing list of 126 Bib Gourmands. The newest restaurants include the New York Times two-star-rated Bar Primi, the beloved dim sum spot Nom Wah Tea Parlor, and the neighborhood Brooklyn spot, Rye.

The announcement of the newest edition of Bib Gourmand-recommended New York City restaurants comes a week before the release of the New York City Michelin Guide on October 1.

Familiar names and repeat restaurants on this year’s list include DBGB Kitchen and Bar, Dirt Candy, Ed’s Lobster Bar, Hill Country Chicken, Katz’s, Momofuku Noodle Bar, and Prune.
