Spotify is out to make this Thanksgiving’s turkey roast a little less tedious. Introducing the Time for Turkey playlist selector, which syncs a music playlist with the exact time it will take your Thanksgiving bird to cook perfectly. So you’ll be able to tap it out to Taylor, or shake it to Sinatra (depending on your musical preferences) while basting the main event for Thanksgiving dinner.
How does it work? Simply enter the weight of your turkey, and whether it’s stuffed or unstuffed. Then you can select a musical playlist from genres like “Club Kitchen,” “Golden Oldies,” and “Family Time” for music that any member of the family will enjoy, which apparently includes Jason Mraz. Based on the turkey specifications, you’ll get a playlist that’s exactly the length of the time your turkey will need to roast to juicy perfection.
This is definitely one Thanksgiving activity we can get behind, unlike some of the bizarre annual traditions out there.
