Woody Allen Dined At A Restaurant In Brooklyn Three Times In A Row

Director Woody Allen dined at the same Brooklyn restaurant three times last week and ordered the same dish each time.

Allen is filming a new movie in Sunset Park and visited The Pearl Room for lunch, ordering oysters each time he was there. The Mediterranean seafood restaurant is led by executive chef Anthony Rinaldi and received a Michelin Guide Award this year.

"He comes for lunch," a manager from The Pearl Room told Page Six. "He's always easygoing and very appreciative. He tells us, 'I'll see you tomorrow,' every time he comes in."

During one of the visits, he brought actor Jesse Eisenberg — who is starring in the movie — to have oysters and to try the chef's macadamia-crusted filet and salmon special.

"They were talking about the movie and seemed to have a great rapport with each other," the manager told Page Six.

Allen is not the first notable Hollywood celebrity that the media have recently reported on for visiting a given restaurant multiple times in a short period of time Back in March, actor Bill Murray dined at Taverna Kyclades, a Greek restaurant in Astoria, Queens, twice in one week. Murray first brought in actress Sofia Coppola for lunch, and then returned with George Clooney for dinner the day after.
