Watch: Pixar's Dining Room Trailer For 'Inside Out' Explores The Inner Thoughts Of A Family

In a new trailer for Pixar's upcoming movie Inside Out, the inner workings of the mind — and our emotions — are turned into anthropomorphized creatures. Inside 11-year-old Riley's "Headquarters," we meet her five emotions: Joy (Amy Poehler), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Bill Hader), Sadness (Phyllis Smith) and Disgust (Mindy Kaling).

Riley's parents each have their own rich inner lives that take on their host's personality: Mom (Diane Lane) is reasonable and focused in red glasses, and mustachioed Dad (Kyle MacLachlan) is well-meaning but slightly less clued-in.

In no time, a seemingly uneventful family dinner turns into a detailed study of family dynamics. Each family member's emotions do some serious behind-the-scenes battling with each other and execute a series of military commands that come out as familiar phrases like, "I do not like this new attitude," and Riley's response, "What is your problem? Just leave me alone!"

Inside Out is due in theaters in June 2015.
