Watch: James Franco Plays A Chef In Pitch-Perfect, Hilariously Uncomfortable SNL Sketch About Ferguson

In this unaired Saturday Night Live sketch from this weekend's episode (starring James Franco and Nicki Minaj), James Franco plays a chef who has recently arrived in St. Louis to do a cooking demonstration on a local news station as part of his book tour.

In the days following the grand jury's decision on Darren Wilson, tensions are high and the news anchors scrambling to avoid  any contentious topics or turns of phrase, and failing miserably.

They turn to Franco for relief, who has shown up to promote his healthy eating cookbook, Yum Yum in My Tum Tum.

"Turns out when you schedule a book tour eight months ahead, the cities stay pretty much set in stone so... here I am to cook with you here in this part of the country," says Franco by way of introduction.
