Sofia Vergara Steals The Show At The Emmys While Snacking On Popcorn
Modern Family siren Sofia Vergara managed to steal the show at the Emmys this weekend when, as the camera panned to Jon Hamm — winner of an outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his work on Mad Men — Vergara was spotted happily snacking on popcorn in the background.
As she explained on Instagram, Vergara actually snuck the popcorn into the awards ceremony for a light bite.
Behind her, we can see some of Sofia's costars engrossed with their smartphones, but the bright-eyed actress is focused on a bag of gold kernels from Popcornopolis, a gourmet popcorn company.
In the GIF below, Sofia appears to make eye contact with the camera for just a second, perhaps realizing that she's been caught with her loot — but she doesn't seem too worried.
Judging by the fact that Ellen DeGeneres brought an entire pizza party to the Oscars last year, we'll assume it's probably OK for Sofia to enjoy a snack at the show.
