NFL Stadiums Go Gourmet This Year With Snacks From Michael Symon, Andrew Zimmern, And More

Stadium foods used to be all about a regular beer and hot dog, but as we learned earlier this year from the outrageous fare offered at MLB stadiums, fans are looking for a snack makeover.Although the football season doesn't start for more than a week, we got a sneak peek at the brand-new snacks being offered by Aramark at 11 NFL stadiums across the nation.

This year, celebrity chefs are on the menu: Michael Symon, Andrew Zimmern, and Marc Vetri are all offering snacks for lucky NFL fans. Browns fans can expect a crispy chicken sandwich with avocado, arugula, tomato, and mayo from chef Symon, and Eagles fans will get a taste of rotating vegetarian pizza slices like summer eggplant, fall spinach, and winter Calabrian pepper. These celebrity chefs will also work with renowned local chefs to create other gourmet treats.

If you're looking for something a little more down to earth, there are the donut-chos (yes a donut/nacho hybrid) with three dipping sauces at the Browns' First Energy Stadium; and a tailgating burger topped with sausage, bacon, crab dip, and Buffalo chicken wings at the Ravens' M&T Bank Stadium.

If you're a Steelers fan looking to stay healthy, you'll be able to munch on a rotating salad of the game. (But who would want to do that when you could eat a Buffalo wing-topped bacon/sausage burger?)
