Horror Movie 'Eaten' Combines The 'Bravado Of Gordon Ramsay And The Tastes Of Hannibal Lecter'

From BAFTA-nominated director Caradog James (The Machine), Eaten is an upcoming horror movie about "a notorious celebrity chef who belongs to an exclusive and upscale New York cannibal ring."

The film will be shot over the next 12 months and is based on a script by Rob Green, who described the premise to Screen Daily by saying, "Imagine a top celebrity chef with the gourmet talents and bravado of Gordon Ramsay and the tastes of Hannibal Lecter."

There's no word yet on who will play the flesh-eating chef, but producer Charlotte Walls described the main character, Giles Bonham-Hess, as a "terrific character, charismatic and repulsive in equal measure... the chance to explore the dark tastes of the privileged super-rich in our story world will be a lot of fun to realize."

We have a lot questions that need to be answered, including: Will José Andrés be called to consult on how true-to-life the food looks, as he was for NBC's Hannibal? How creepy will the craft services setup be? And finally, how much room is there for celebrity chef cameos?
