Buffalo Bills Coach Rex Ryan Agrees To Eat Dog Biscuits For Charity

Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan has been challenged by a local news station to take on the dog biscuit challenge to raise money for a local animal charity, Erie County SPCA.

"We're raising money for our Paws in the Park fundraiser, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year," the SPCA's Barbara Carr told WIVB News 4. "And we thought this year we would challenge our friends to donate to the cause, eat a biscuit, or both."

Similar to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, "It really allows us to get the word out really quickly," said Carr.

On Twitter, the Buffalo Bills seemed to confirm that Ryan was game to try the unusual treat. "With a name [like] Rex, I've eaten a lot of dog biscuits in my life," the Bills posted on Twitter. "Tomorrow, the #DogBiscuitChallenge is on." The Erie County SPCA hopes to get high-profile celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Betty White to take on the challenge as well.
