You Can Order A Vegan Thanksgiving From The Cinnamon Snail Team

The Cinnamon Snail, a beloved vegan dessert truck and a regular part of The Daily Meal's 101 Best Food Trucks — even after the truck was abruptly forced to close in February after being unable to renew its operating permit — will be offering vegan Thanksgiving catering in New York City and New Jersey.

"After much deliberation, and lots of requests (thanks for all of the love and support everyone), we have decided to offer our popular vegan Thanksgiving catering this year," chef Adam Sobel announced online.

"As many of you know, we are in the process of opening a New York City Cinnamon Snail location! Because of the close timing of that project to Thanksgiving, we are keeping it very simple this year, offering a much smaller menu, and fewer pick up locations, to save our sanity. This year's menu may not work for everyone's needs, but rest assured our future Thanksgiving and other holiday menus will be back to their huge comprehensive splendor again."

On Thanksgiving Day, there will be two pickup locations available, on 21st Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan, and at the Galleria parking lot in Red Bank, New Jersey.

An individual gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner, available for $23, includes rosemary hempseed-crusted tofu with smoked mushroom gravy, rosemary-roasted root vegetables, lemon-mustard marinated kale, parsnip sage bread pudding, and cranberry orange relish.
