WATCH: Guillermo Fries Bacon On A Bald Man's Head On Jimmy Kimmel Live

2015 might be Earth's warmest year ever. We're currently in the middle of a heat wave and states like California are in the middle of an ongoing drought. People joke that sometimes it's so hot outside they could "fry an egg on the sidewalk," so late-night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel took the idea to a new level.

It was 102 degrees in Burbank, California on August 18 — the hottest it's been in 15 years. Kimmel wanted to experiment with the heat and said, "It's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk — I have to say, I think that's a shame because it leaves out so many other breakfast items that can be cooked in the sun."

Kimmel sent Guillermo, the parking lot security guard for Jimmy Kimmel Live, to find a bald man to see if it was hot enough to fry pieces of bacon on his head. Guillermo took to the streets of Burbank and stopped a man named Charles from Dallas, Texas.

Guillermo placed a few strips of bacon on Charles's head and found that it was successful (oh, the power of camera cutaways)! Regardless, Charles was a great sport and even said, "No problem, next time let's have eggs, too!"
