Waitress Posts Tasteless 9/11 Joke After George W. Bush Leaves Her Generous Tip
When waitress Leisa Smith served the former president, she did what any normal young person would do: Excitedly post a social media photo of herself with George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. But that's not what sent the Internet into a frenzy.
Smith also dished on details of the generous $40 tip, or nearly 200 percent of the bill, that the 43rd president gave her. But Leisa — who identifies as liberal — also tweeted, "bush did 911 but he did me a solid and left a hella tip."
Leisa added as an afterthought:
In case you were wondering, my buddy George absolutely hates mustard and his wife doesn't let him drink caffeine

The tweet went viral and has since been deleted, and Leisa defended herself, explaining in a note on Twitter: "I don't believe Bush did 9/11. The tweet was supposed to be a sarcastic joke...President George W. Bush and his wife were some of the nicest people I ever met and had I known this would blow out of proportion I would never have tweeted it."

Still, Leisa, has not been let off the hook by Tweeps who felt her joke was a tad disrespectful to the former Commander in Chief:
@leisaiscool : You should be fired! You're a thankless little girl to say that about the FPOTUS AFTER he tipped youhttps://t.co/d81lvvOOZe
